Goodbye Cardiff

It was sunny.. And after running some errands, I took my photographer out for a photoshoot around UHW.. :)

She did a great job in taking my photos but not going to upload everything... It's going to be a bit too much then.. So, goodbye Heath.. Will be too busy to pay a visit next week.. 

Madame Tussauds

Went to London for a day trip.. with Nana.. We took the early morning bus to London..

And my motion sickness kicked in half an hour before we reached london and I threw out ! waaaa... So, tercemar la baju2 ku... 

So, we went to Oxford street, I got a new top and changed the white inner top... phew... problem solved...

And we had an AMAZING time in MT... :) After 5 years in UK, finally pergi jugak.. haha.. hampeh gle..

All packed

I might have uploaded these on FB.. But just felt that I wanted to write something down..

So, I packed my 5 years worth of life into 5 boxes.. Shipped it... and left my room.. It was sad, but I'm excited ! InsyaAllah the next chapter of my life will be exciting and amazing.. ameen.. I am looking forward to starting it soon....

Everything happens for a reason.. But, I believe this is the best decision that I have made.. for me and my family..

So, currently tengah nomad dalam rumah ni.. Menumpang bilik Ainol and Nana illegally.. Muahaha..

Lazy !

Angah has been bugging me about updating my blog.. but too lazy to do it..

Maybe it's because I'm going back for good already and sooner or later I won't need this blog anymore.. :)

Will try and write something soon.. but currently a bit unwell after the trip....

Liverpool with doctors

We went to Liverpool.. Rombongan sekolah in 2 cars.. We (Salad, Syafeeq and Me) left Rhyl and stopped by Wrexham to meet up the other 4... I didn't bring my camera so had to wait for Mia and Hafiz to send me theirs.. So, here's a few of them..

Alhamdulillah

Alhamdullilah.. The only thing I can say at the moment.. Got my results today, and made it.. 5 years of medical school.. insyaAllah worth it.. Only 2 more weeks of assistantship to go and then back to Malaysia for electives..

Only Allah knows how I felt last night and this morning.. Felt sick ! And panic.. and at the same time I forgot my student number causing me a minor heart attack when I couldn't find my number on the pass list.. But I was actually looking for a wrong number..

There's a few people that deserve the well wishes more than me.. They are my parents (Mama and Abah) and not to forget the siblings.. And yeah Adlina, Ariff and Amira contributed as well by being super duper cheeky and made me smile when I was under a lot of stress !

So, let's start another countdown.. insyaAllah Malaysia in 2 weeks time !

p/s : Kalau dah abis belajar ni, what's next ? Kahwin ?

It's the waiting game !

Gosh.. I hate this time around of the year.. Waiting and waiting and waiting.. and ended up stressing out ! People keeps on asking about results... Today, my consultant thought I have got my results and graduated from med school ! WAAAAAAAAA... Cuak la mcm ni...

Rhyl - Revisit

I am back in North Wales again.. HELLO ! Glan Clwyd Hospital, we meet again.. This time around I'm doing consolidation or student assistantship... Basically shadowing the F1 of the team that you'll be working with come August.. But since I'm not working here in the UK, I was just given a team where their future F1 is not here at the moment (ie from University other than Cardiff).. Hence, UROLOGY !

Finished very early today.. Did some bloods earlier and was told not to bother coming back after lunch since there's nothing that needs to be done anyway.. I'm bored to death already.. Lucky us in Rhyl, they have upgraded the internet... AMAZING.. Way faster than it used to be when I was year more than a year ago..

And guess what ? They have also installed a TV in each room ! HOOOYEAH !!! So, enjoy the pics of my crib for the next 4 weeks :)

Post exam

Alhamdulillah.. What is left now is just doa and tawakal... A day after the exam, I went to Manchester to visit one my friend.. Actually my deskmate back when I was in KMB.. It was lovely meeting them again and reminiscing the good old days.. :)

8 girls and a boy

Today is the last day of SRP placement.. So, we are finishing... Last placement before finals.. It's quite sad and at the same time scary !!!!!!

Had a really great time in Carmarthen.. Alhamdulillah I have always been lucky when it comes to placements... Always got amazing group of people with me.. Really enjoyed this block and learned a lot ! insyaAllah all 9 of us will be fine in Finals. Ameen

MOCK

We had our MOCK OSCE today followed by pizza.. and I feel so rubbish now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And at one point when walking down the stairs, I said to myself  "Why did I get myself into this ? Why am I doing medicine in the first place ?"

And tears started to run down my cheeks as soon as I get back to my room :(

Ill again

I had upper respiratory tract infection about 3 weeks ago.. Not a bad one, just postnasal drip, blocked nose and the sneezing bit that was most annoying.. Finished a whole pack of tissue.. And alhamdulillah that it went away after a week...

But, it's BACK !!! Urgh.. Woke up this morning with the weird sensation at the back of my nose.. and then, the continuous runny nose !! And now, it's all blocked.. Just not the perfect timing to get ill.. I have so much to do but yet feels like so little time left..

Quite lucky that I have amazing friends here in West Wales.. :)

5 weeks today

Started Cardiology today.. And this pic was taken while waiting for our Medical teaching.. How interesting that 4 of us have different colour steths :) 

Thanks to my placement friends for just going along with my hyperness and craziness !! I do go mad quite a few times :)

Ya Allah, please grant me the strength.. and understanding.. I change my emotion every second.. At one point during ward round, I feel like crying and punching somebody.. Not long to go now !

p/s : Need to plan something exciting for my post exam week off ! Told mama that maybe we can meet halfway ? But I don't think that's going to happen ! and nobody is coming to visit me anyway ! Told along about it and she said adlina has school ! haish.. 

Blaming the stress

My skin has gone from bad to worse... it's dry and at the same time spots coming out every other day.. and the tone is awful.. and because i'm still a student, I'm not really spending that much money on skincare.. haha.. tunggu la dah qualify nanti baru la nak belanja kot..

And weight gain.. this doesn't help when u don't walk as much because u live 5 minutes away from the wards.. so, less walking and less exercise.. my gym membership expired end of Dec and didn't bother to renew it as I am away for placement.. So, hello FAT !!! not that I was skinny or something, but healthier !!

Blaming the stress for all these.. hopefully will go away after finals.. haha.. 5 more weeks to finals !

Mama and abah sent me this picture on whatsapp.. Not sure who did it.. Mama or abah because it was sent using abah's whatsapp but most probably bukan abah yg hantar.. hehe... 

I was a gorgeous baby ! but look what happened now.. 25 years after !!!!!!! haha... Kemanakah hilangkan kecomelan itu ????????????? 

Ok.. need to study AGAIN ! 

It's so close but yet so far

Allah.. It's about 5 weeks to finals.. There are days when I just can't be bothered anymore and wishes that it's over.. and DONE ! but we all know that I am not ready.. and most probably will never ever be ready !

And I'm PMSing.. There are days when I just feel like crying my heart out.. And wishes that there's somebody here to give me a hug and tell me everything is going to be fine.. It's so tiring when u still have to go in everyday at 8am and still yet finishes late even though you have finals in about a month time.. The timetable is full with endless ward rounds, ward work and teaching ! Could hardly find anytime to breath.. and there were times when I was about to lose my patience and wanted to slap somebody.. Even the consultant who could not stop talking in teaching :(((

I know I am not working as hard as I should be.. But I don't know why I'm so tired all the time !!!!! Ya Allah, please help me.. Give me the strength..

p/s : Finished the 3 LEAs for surgery and hopefully will get signed off by Friday.. and next week will be starting Medicine !

Last Block

I'm spending my first weekend in Carmarthen.. Decided to stay here so that I'll be more productive.. But actually I'm still a lazy girl !! ARGH !

2 Months

Ya Allah.. How time flies.. InsyaAllah will be sitting for finals in 2 months time ! Mixed feelings at the moment.. But most of the time feels like crying !

Ya Allah, please help me and my friends.. Please give us the strength !

p/s : I scrubbed in theater today. For leg amputation..

2012

We went out for lunch on NYE.. And Nana and I spent the evening at home watching Pretty Woman and You've Got Mail.. Classic :)

It's 2012, and insyaAllah it will be a big year for me.. In 2 months time I will be sitting for one of the biggest exam in my life.. and InsyaAllah I will become a doctor by July..

Please please please pray for me ! And I hope that I will become a better person.. Hoping that 2012 will be better than 2011 in all aspects.. Ameen..

Don't ask me what my resolutions are ? Because I'm afraid to tell anybody.. As long as I keep on improving everyday, I am grateful enough.. I am surrounded by a loving family and friends.. I am blessed with good health.. So, just be grateful everyday.. This is a reminder for myself and others as well.. :)
