I'm a bit high !

It used to be drawing bloods make my day.. Highlights of the week la konon... Whenever I managed to get blood from real people (not dummies) succesfully, then I'll be smiling all day long...

And today, I managed to get this in !!


Yup.. Venflon.. Or IV cannulation... YEAY !!! Obviously I was not by myself... Supervised by the other team's reg... Haha..

And have been jumping all around... Happy !!!

Ok.. Let's hope I can do bloods tomorrow... Coz my consultant is very keen on me being able to do it before Friday... What he means is "Confident to do it on patients by myself".. Very ambitious of him....

I love my camera...

Went to see fireworks at Rhymney... And I used my camera to snap some pics... the fireworks settings la... And the pics are brilliant.... LOVE my camera !! Walaupun pernah ditumpahi air, and terjatuh di Spain... It's still the best camera... hehe...

Missing her ~

It never crossed my mind that I will miss her soo badly.. Having her in London (2hours away) is a bliss... I started to miss going to London on weekends... It's like having a place to go whenever you need to run away from life as a medical student or your housemates.... I need a break.. But currently the only place that I have been spending my weekends after stressful weekdays is my room !! How BORING !!

I need a place that I can go and just pretend that there is nothing to worry about...
Winter holiday is coming soon... And guess what, I have no plans... AT ALL !!! Angah, mai la London buat PHD ka.. ngeh ~

My FREEDOM !!

I finished my 5 Thursdays with KT (Honorary Lecturer) and he signed my A&C form... Which means I'm FREE !!!

So, no more nightmares and sleepless Wenesdays nights...

To celebrate it, we went to Nandos... Katie, Jen, Lizzie and me... Yipee... As usual la... sebab dpt 20% discount guna NHS id... So, enjoy the pics....

Before getting the vaccine, the nurse asked me...

Nurse : Is there any chance that you might be pregnant ??
Me : NO !!
Nurse : Are you sure ??
Me : I'm NOT pregnant....

** Nampak muka mcm pregnant kah ???

Then, in the clinic....

Dr. B : Are you married ??
Me : NO !
Dr. B : Do u have a boyfriend then ??
Me : NO !!

** Nampak muka mcm dah kawin ke ??

Then, in the clinic the next day...

Dr. B : So, you were born in 1982 ? 27 right ??
Me : (Muka terkejut).. NO... 1987....

Dalam hati "What makes he thinks that I'm 27...

Seriously.... Do I actually look old ??? I'm 22 and single and enjoying it.... What's the matter !! hahaha....

I got it at last ~

Last weak I was unsure nak amik swine flu vaccine or not.... Then, on Monday, went to meet my new team at 9am... And met my new house officer.... Plus the pharmacy... He showed me his site of injection... A bit bruised.. After ward round, the F2 said she's going to get her vaccine now and ask me whether I want it or not.... And without thinking much, I said YES !!! hahaha.....

I dont have any problems with needles... At one point rasa mcm aku ni drug addict ke sbb suka plak ngan needles.... haha.... sket2 org try amik darah.... gle tak de pain receptor.... So, I didnt feel anything when the nurse injected the vaccine....Only the next day I first noticed the side effects.... Obviously la.. amik vaccine ape pun ade side effects... Mula2 tu rasa mcm nak demam.... flu like symptoms.... Then time dlm clinic with Dr. B rasa lenguh2 badan.... Mcm nak kena flu tu.... Dr B asked me what's wrong sebab nampak gelisah kot... haha... So, I told him la... Guess what he said to me...

" You are not strong enough to win this Swine Flu WAR !!"

I was like.... ERMMMMM... Terdiam terus... Anyway.. after about 5 days... dah makin ok.... as usual lenguh2 tangan, and a bit itchy dekat tempat inject tu... but i would say the pain of this vaccine is surely less than the flu itself..... hehehe.... Plus free kot...

Eventho dah amik vaccine, still ade risk untuk kena swine flu... But less la... May Allah protect us la... Bukan takut kena the flu itself... but, as a professional (cewah) we have to prevent from giving it to patients...

Ok la... stop beleter ye Husniyah.... Till then.... Salam sayang buat family at home...

Dilemma ~

To stay at the same house next year or not ??

To get swine flu vaccine tomorrow or not ??

Enough about that...

I'll be with Dr. B for 2 weeks starting tomorrow... And this time around.. ON MY OWN...

Tak cukup lgkah stress ?? haish....

And yesterday went to town... And terjumpa Dr. L (MY GP tutor) dekat town... haish.... MALU ~ But, being a polite student, I said HI to him... Sempat la berbual2 dengan his wife... Phew.....

Ok.. need to get back to endocrinology.... waaaaa ~
